Her team won the 5A Region Championships all five years she played at Briarwood (eighth grade-12). While there, she earned NSCAA All-American and NSCAA Alabama State Player of the Year, and in her junior year she was part of the North Alabama All-Star team. Ally was an All-Metro defender, Alabama Wendy's High School Heisman Qualifier, and in 2011 was voted to the All-Metro First Team.

Her oldest sister, Lindsay, was on the swimming team at Springhill College. She also has a younger brother, RJ. In her spare time, Ally enjoys spending time with friends and family, singing, and watching Lord of the Rings. Her favorite Bible passage is Proverbs 3:5-6, which says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."
Ally is a Pre-Engineering major with minors in Math and Physics. Her career aspirations after college are to play for the Charlotte Eagles, go to Georgia Tech for an engineering degree, and then work for an engineering firm or be an engineering professor.
