Kiaira is one of the three captains leading the Lady Scots this season. She returns to lead the team after a season ending injury caused her to miss last season. In her sophomore season, she was named Player of the Week for her performances on the court. Prior to Covenant, she played for North Cobb Christian where she was named Most Committed Player and received the Offensive, Defensive, and All-Conference Awards during her time there. Kiaira played AAU basketball for the GA Peaches and Lady Souljahz.

Her parents are Chris and LaRhonda Whetstone. She has a brother, Myles. When she is not playing basketball, Kiaira enjoys photography, graphic design, and watching movies. One of her favorite Bible passages is Psalms 23.

Kiaira is majoring in Art and minoring in Sports Management. After graduating from Covenant, she would like to pursue a Master's degree in Sports Management and then become an athletic director of a college or open a community center or gym.
