Jessie returns to Covenant in her junior year as one of the three captains for the Lady Scots this season. Prior to Covenant, Jessie played basketball for White Knoll where she was a three-year varsity captain, a two-time 4AAAA All-Region player, and named Most Valuable Player in her senior season. She also played AAU basketball with the Caroline Crush.

Her parents are Doug and Dee Blankenship. She has an older brother, Billy. When she is not on the court, Jessie enjoys playing other sports, reading, and creating art. One of her favorite Bible verses is Exodus 14:14 which says, "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still."

Jessie is a double major, majoring in Art and Business (with an Accounting concentration). After graduating from Covenant, Jessie would like to work as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in a Big 4 accounting firm.
