|Hometown:||Indian Trail, N.C.|
|High School:||Covenant Day|
Stephen returns to Covenant as one of five sophomores running for the Scots this season. As a freshmen, he was named to the GSAC All-Conference and All-Freshmen teams. During high school, Stephen ran for Covenant Day where he was Runner of the Year for his district, which contained both private and public high schools.
His parents are Scott and Amy Dillon. He has two younger brothers and a younger sister. When he is not running, he enjoys hiking and rock climbing, hanging out with his friends, and intramural sports. One of his favorite Bible passages is James 1:5-8 which says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do."
Stephen is a Biblical and Theological Studies major with a minor in Psychology. He feels God is leading him to become a pastor, and he looks forward to seeing how the Lord leads him to pursue this calling.
