Michigan Product heads South to Covenant

Lookout Mountain, GA- Clayton Carroll, a 6'7" 205 lb. Wing/Forward from Holland, MI has chosen Covenant College to pursue his degree in Philosophy and Religion. Carroll attended Holland Christian High School, and has spent the past two years up the road at Muskegon (MI) Community College.

Clayton is the youngest child of Jeff and Terri Carroll. He has two older sisters who are both married, Nichole Johnson and Charity Frazier. When talking about the opportunity to attend Covenant College and play basketball, Carroll said "I worked very hard, through the help of the Lord, to get to where I am today. Stepping out on the basketball court at Covenant, and just being able to play is truly a miracle for me."

"Clayton is a gym rat, and a tireless worker who has put in a lot of effort to get to where he is today," said head coach Kyle Taylor. "His work ethic and passion for the game of basketball really attracted me to recruit Clayton. He is going to have a fine career as a Scot not only on the basketball court, but in the classroom as well. I'm excited to get Clayton on campus, and I know he is even more excited about getting settled in his new home on Lookout Mountain."
