Milligan Downs Covenant 80-59

Lookout Mountain, GA- Milligan's Torian Sitton, Kyle Donahue, and Seymour Cordero were all able to accomplish something in Wednesday night's game that only one Scot, Damien Chaney, was able to, and that was scoring double digits in points.  Indeed, Chaney's 10 point effort was nowhere near enough to propel the Scots to victory, as they slumped to their sixth consecutive defeat in an 80-59 loss to the Milligan College Buffaloes. 

Despite leading in the early stages of the game and keeping things close for a majority of the first half, Covenant's poor shooting and inability to capitalize on layups and offensive rebounds began to hurt them as the contest progressed.  The fact that Milligan was a red-hot 83% from three-point range also did little to ease the pressure on the Scots, who have now dropped to a 3-15 record on the season.  Covenant will now travel to face Oakwood University this Saturday at 10:00 P.M.
